SIS’ Innovative Approach to B2B and Industrial Research

SIS International Research has been conducting B2B and Industrial research for over 30 years.

The traditional methods that we have used are:

  • Recruitment and interviewing from databases and lists
  • Desk research to identify competitors, channels, distributors, OEMS, etc.
  • Desk research to identify key respondents to be interviewed
  • Researching past conferences and trade shows to identify competitors, channels and
  • distributors

These methods worked in the past 20 years, however, at least 40 – 50% of the B2B or industrial research respondents are now millennials who rely on mobility on their smart phones, rather than computers or land lines. It is becoming increasingly necessary to reach this age 35 and younger millennial on their cell or smart phones or through their social networks.
